Meal Plans 101

Having a meal plan means more than just convenience - it's your key to enjoying craveable meals across campus. With chef-inspired menus, local ingredients, and sustainable practices, your dining experience is as dynamic as campus life.

Your Meal Plan Access

  • Meal Swipes

Meal Swipes give you access to all-you-care-to-eat dining halls, offering variety of delicious and fresh options for every meal.

  • Dining Dollars

Dining Dollars are prepaid funds that can be used at any campus dining location to conveniently purchase food, snacks, and beverages.

  • Meal Exchange

Meal Exchange lets you trade a Meal Swipe for select menu items at participating campus retail locations, giving you more flexibility on the go.

What is a Meal Plan?

A Meal Plan unlocks delicious meals, coffee, snacks, and more, at over 10 dining locations across UNLV campus. Your Meal Plan includes Meal Swipes and Dining Dollars, conveniently loaded onto your RebelCard. No need to carry additional cards or cash!

What are Dining Dollars?

Dining Dollars are like a gift card for food on campus. They are attached to your RebelCard and may be used at any UNLV Eats location. Visit our locations page for location information, including dining hall menus and hours of operation. Dining Dollars will roll over from fall semester to spring semester, and expire at the end of the school year.

What is a Meal Exchange?

Meal Exchanges provide you with the flexibility to purchase specific products that make up a meal at both the SU Provisions on Demand (POD) and DC Provisions on Demand (POD).  The maximum number of Meal Exchanges that can be used per week is limited to the total number of Meal Swipes your plan offers per week.

Guest Meals

The number of guest meal swipes varies by meal plan. Use your meal swipes to treat family or friends to a meal anytime!
